This 72 page catalogue, The Glass Sculpture of Christopher Ries,
commemorates the first major presentation of the artist's work since the
groundbreaking exhibition, Illusions in Glass: The Art of Christopher Ries,
at the Cincinnati Art Museum in 1988. Ries's inspired forms and exquisite
craftsmanship are well documented in full-color reproductions and contains
25 full page images plus many detail photographs. The catalogue also
includes a six-page essay by James Yood who teaches contemporary art theory
and criticism at Northwestern University. He writes regularly for Artforum
and GLASS magazines.
